A three-year veteran defender who is the team's active career
leader in tackles-for-loss, Dwight returns as the starter at the
Ram position...strong player with excellent technique...great pass
rusher...played some as a true freshman in 2008 and has been a
familar presence on the field last two seasons...has been
outstanding in the spring three years in a row...has played in all
33 games during his three seasons and started 13 times...enters the
season with 102 career tackles and 17 tackles-for-loss...claimed a
spot on the Athletic Director's Honor Roll both semesters in

AT TECH (In 2010): Dwight was a huge presence in
the Golden Eagle defense as a junior, starting in 10 games and
seeing action in all 11...starter at the Ram position, he led the
team and ranked eighth in the Ohio Valley Conference in
tackles-for-loss, making 10.5 for 22 yards...rankd sixth on the
team in total tackles with 53 stops, including 21 solo
tackles...started slowly with six total tackles through the first
four games...had career-high nine tackles in the UT Martin game,
and matched that the following week with nine stops at AUstin
Peay..had eight tackles against Eastern Illinois and six stops in
each of the next three games...had career-best 2.5 tackles-for-loss
at Murray State.
(In 2009): Dwight started in three contests (Kansas
State, Austin Peay and Georgia) and saw action at Ram in all 11
games...made 30 total tackles including 12 unassisted
stops...matched his career-high with five tackles in the opener
against Pikeville...topped that with six tackles in Golden Eagle
victory over Austin Peay...also made 4.5 tackles-for-loss for 15
yards.
(In 2008): Dwight played in 11 games as a true freshman,
finishing his rookie year with 19 total tackles...saved his biggest
performance for last, notching career-high five tackles (all
assists) against Eastern Illinois...had three tackles against both
Central Methodist and Murray State...had two
tackles-for-loss...forced a crucial fumble in Tech's late-game
comeback effort at Austin Peay...one of six true freshmen among the
team's Top 20 in total tackles.
HIGH SCHOOL: A team captain, Dwight was a
first-team Ohio All-State selection as a senior, posting 85 total
tackles, including 65 solo stops, four sacks and one fumble
recovery...named first-team All-Southwest Ohio and first-team
All-Greater Miami Conference, going on to play in the East/West
All-Star game...two-year starter...was a second-team all-conference
pick as a junior and honorable mention all-Southwest Ohio when he
played defensive end...made 35 tackles and had 3.5 sacks.
